Emily Freeman

Emily Freeman is a thinker and a storyteller who helps engineering teams move faster. She believes the biggest challenges facing technologists aren’t technical, but human. Her mission in life is to galvanize engineering teams and create company cultures in which everyone can thrive. 

Emily is the author of DevOps for Dummies. She is a senior cloud advocate at Microsoft and former startup executive. Her work has been featured in Bloomberg and she is widely recognized as an international keynote speaker. She is best known for her creative approach to identifying and solving the human challenges of software engineering. Emily lives with her daughter in Denver, Colorado.
